As DevOps Engineer you will be part of our DevOps infra team in the role as expert for Linux and automation. You will take care of the design, implementation, and running infrastructure for various projects. You will closely cooperate with the project managers, application support engineers and software developers, and will help them to set up and manage the infrastructure and tooling needed for their projects. You will have the opportunity for self-development, the realization of your ideas, and learning new things. WHAT YOU WILL DO?
- analysis of requirements and propose the suitable solution
- set up and configure the supporting tools and the environments
- coordinate the work of DevOps Infra team (approx. 25% of time)
- participate in oncall-duty and on daily operations - patch management, maintenance (various applications, operating systems, databases, ...)
- troubleshoot and rectify infrastructure issues
- monitor all alerts related to infrastructure and provide proactive action
- prepare documentation
- bring new ideas and implement improvements
WHAT SHOULD BE YOUR SKILLS:
Must:
- education in IT field
- problem-solving and good communication skills
- good organisational skills
- very good knowledge of Linux based system administration
- very good knowledge of Ansible automation
- English language Advanced (min. B2) willingness to learn new things
Beneficial skills with administration of (at least some of them):
- Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift/OKD, ArgoCD
- practical knowledge of PostgreSQL or MariaDB configuration - including clusteringLoadbalancing and HA-Proxy
- Apache httpd, nginx
- JFrox Artifactory and Xray
- Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo)
- Monitoring (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus)
- GitLab, Bitbucket/Bamboo
- HashiCorp Vault
Personal skills:
