xITee is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage and lead our development projects for international customers.

xITee? What are we doing? Who are we?

Our customers are primarily from three main sectors:

In Finance&Energy we are involved in the development for Europe's leading financial exchanges. The financial sector is an area in which we started and have been active for more than 15 years. As a result, we have a wealth of experience in the industry and can afford to go into bigger and more interesting projects. For example, we are currently developing a greenfield A brand new trading system that has an advanced technological architecture and processes tens of thousands of events per second.

In the field of Healthcare we cooperate with leading German health insurance companies. Currently for one of Germany's leading health insurance companies we are developing a system for managing the insured's account in a microservice architecture. For example, we are also developing a system for organising assistance services for disabled insureds throughout Germany. Digital aids covered by health insurance are also a hot trend in this area, such as the Apple watch app we are developing, based on the use of health data from the watch, which will enable cardiologists to monitor the ECG of their patients.

The third and our newest sector is Digital Business. To keep up with the times, we have also launched new projects in this growing area, namely in the development of cloud solutions. A current example is the construction of a platform for financing development projects, running on Microsoft cloud services (Azure).

Our goal is to develop high quality software for our customers, so we constantly follow modern trends, improve our QA processes, pay attention to best practices and try to design software to be sustainable in the long term.

What will your duties be?

• estimate, plan and manage software development projects
• set up new projects, plan resources and monitor their progress
• communication with clients (coordination, reporting)
• analyze customer requirements, clarify scope, define criteria
• lead the team, resolve conflicts, ensure quality of work
• manage project documentation

What do we expect from you?

• very good knowledge of software development processes
• English language (B2), German language is an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in software development project management
• very good knowledge of agile SW development methods
• proactive, customer and problem-solving orientation
• be a team player
• strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn about the customer's industry
• Experience in the financial sector would be an advantage
